This is how we calculate the scores for the Wilmslow Town "Dream Team":

• Scores are calculated using match data from fixtures that have taken place within the last 30 days
• All fixtures - with the exception of friendlies - are taken into account.
• The player scores are a mean average across the number of fixtures in which each player has taken part, although 0.25 points are added back to the player's score for each fixture. This means that players who have taken part in more matches gain a marginal advantage.
• Points for Match results
• Players receive 1.5 points for each win, irrespective of their position.
• Players receive 1 point for each score draw, irrespective of their position.
• Players receive 0.5 points for each no score draw, irrespective of their position.
• 0.25 points are deducted from match points for unused substitutes. No points are deducted in the case of a defeat.
• Man of the Match
• Players receive 2 points for being named Man of the Match.
• Goals & Assists
• Players receive 0.4 points for each Goal.
• Players receive 0.6 points for each Assist.
• Attackers
• Attackers receive 1 point if their team scores 1 or 2 goals.
• Attackers receive 2 points if their team scores 3 or 4 goals.
• Attackers receive 3 points if their team scores 5 or more goals.
• Goalkeepers & Defenders
• Goalkeepers & Defenders receive 1.5 points if their team concedes only 2 goals.
• Goalkeepers & Defenders receive 2.5 points if their team concedes only 1 goal.
• Goalkeepers & Defenders receive 5 points if their team concedes 0 goals.
• Midfielders
• Midfielders receive 0.5 points if their team scores 1 or 2 goals.
• Midfielders receive 1 point if their team scores 3 or 4 goals.
• Midfielders receive 1.5 points if their team scores 5 or more goals.
• Midfielders receive 0.75 points if their team concedes only 2 goals.
• Midfielders receive 1.25 points if their team concedes only 1 goal.
• Midfielders receive 2.5 points if their team concedes 0 goals.
• Discipline
• Players are deducted 2 points for each yellow card.
• Players are deducted 5 points for each red card.
