Unbeaten Run Continues For U9 Jaguars - Max Hits Crusaders for four.

Wilmslow Town U9 Jaguars took on Unicorn Crusaders in a battle between the two promoted teams from Division B. The Jaguars started brightly with Jack's long throw finding Max who coolly slotted it past the Unicorn keeper. Jack and Harrison were a wall at the back with Connor moving the ball around to Joe and Matt out wide. Max was lethal up front, scoring a second goal before the break. The Crusaders fought back to 2-1 with an opportunist goal from a corner.

In the second 3rd, Joel stepped in to provide outstanding cover on the right and Dante battled strongly in the middle linking up well with his team-mates with some great passing. Will never stopped running and the Crusaders could not cope with Cameron's tough tackling. Olly provided good movement up front.

The third 3rd saw Max back on the pitch scoring two more great goals to finish the game off. Freddie was solid in nets throughout and Joe White had one of his best games out on the left. Special mention for Matt who worked hard for the team and deserved a goal for his efforts. The Jaguars were worthy winners in a solid team performance.

The Jaguars go into the mid term break having won 6 and drawn 1. Exactly fifty goals have been scored and fifteen conceded. The coaches will now look to improve on the shape of the team, set pieces and skills. If the success is to continue, the players will now need to adopt a pass and move style of play. The Jaguars are a tough tackling team with a fantastic spirit. All the parents should be proud of their sons who are a pleasure to coach.
