U9 (Year 3) Trials - Saturday 8th May

The club is now able to confirm details for the eagerly anticipated Wilmslow Town year 3 trials.

Date: Saturday 8th May

Time: 1.00pm till 3:00pm

Venue: Ashdene Primary School

Year 3 boys and girls are welcome. Simply turn up on the day.

The trials are to form the season 2010/11 under 9’s teams for Wilmslow Town FC to play on Saturday mornings. The season starts in September but we have to start putting our teams together now. The trials will be held straight after the usual Saturday morning sessions. Our experience is that the boys and girls are much more relaxed having played at WFA in the morning then have a snack and commence the trials. It stops them thinking about it and helps calm down the nerves. The trials will be fun and designed so that all attendees will have the best chance to impress on the day.

The WFA coaches will help conduct the trials but the final decision on who makes the teams and who doesn’t lies with the three managers who will be running the teams next season for Wilmslow Town. All the selected managers have taken their level one coaching badges and have been CRB checked in line with  the FA and WFA and Wilmslow Town policy.

We are looking for around 30 children to form 3 teams.

WFA are the founders, sponsors and supporters of Wilmslow Town FC.
