The four-day course, which involves assessment in practical and theoretical aspects of coaching, qualifies trainers to coach children and young people at grass roots level.
Wilmslow Town FC is committed to a programme that will see teams at all ages benefit from structured training and player development under FA guidelines. The qualifications are also an important element in Wilmslow Town's plan to become the only Wilmslow football club to obtain FA Charter Standard status. The Charter Standard Scheme is a benchmark for quality, designed to guarantee standards of coaching, administration and child protection and to improve the playing experience for all.
Erik Garner, Head of Coaching at Wilmslow Football Academy, also completed the FA's Age Appropriate UEFA 'A' course to support the development of local training for 5-11 year-olds. Source: A Wheeler << to news index
