Match report for Wilmslow Town U13 Cougars 0 - 6 away win against Longhey Athletic JFC U13 (25/01/2009)

Wilmslow Albion got back on track with a 6-0 win over Longhey Athletic. Albion started off by piling on the pressure. Finally, a cross by Luke found Joe G in the box and he volleyed home. Joe netted again soon after, then set up the other Joe to score. Towards the end of the first half Paddy managed to find the net for Albion again to make it 3-0 to Albion as the sides came off the pitch for half time. It was more even in the second half with Longhey having a few half chances, but safe handling from Harry S in goal prevented any goals. Then about half way through the second half, Paddy netted to make it five. Albion took control again though and, towards the end of the game, Luke hit the bar after cutting in from the right, but there was Joe on the end of the rebound to secure his hat trick. It ended 6-0, a great performance from Albion in this game in which they kept their first clean sheet of the season.
